Monika Csato composer and pianist

Biography
I was born in Tapolca, Hungary in 1971 . I got thrilled by music at a very early age I was eight when I started to play the piano and instantly got curious about composing.
My first teacher was Mr. Miklós Mózner. I became a student at the Music High School of Győr at the age of fourteen. Here Mr. László Draskóczy was my tutor. At nineteen I entered Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Faculty of Composition in Professor Emil Petrovics’ s class. I received my diploma in 1995.
My music is spreading along the territories of minimalism, film score music, new age and rock, sprinkled with some feel for jazz, enriched by characteristic and complex structures of rhythm and affluent emotions.
I have given a number of concerts performing my piano and chamber compositions in Hungary, Germany and Italy.
